ABSOLUTE WAR!

Absolute War!recreates the titanic struggle between the invading armies of Nazi Germany versus the Soviet Union in a fresh new way. The design emphasis has been placed on making the game experience player-friendly so you concentrate on enjoying the experience and exercising your skills against your opponent. The scope, ease of play, low counter density, and reasonable playing times makes this game perfect for both veteran players and newcomers.

Each side has their own Event Deck. These cards are the crux of the game system. Like inNo Retreat!, they are used to generate events and special game abilities (Major Offensives, Partisan Raids, Siege Artillery, Increased Replacements, etc.) and now also effortlessly resolve all battle outcomes. There are no Combat Result Tables, and no dice! This combat system also offers more variety that traditional designs.

Using a simple – yet effective – economic model, players will also feel the growing might and sophistication of the Soviet Red Army and the degradation of the once-invincible German Wehrmacht over the four years that this epic campaign was fought.
